Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of terms

By accessing this website or requesting a quote, estimate, or installation from Lumber Duck Fencing ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.

Estimates and pricing

Instant estimator. Our online instant estimator provides ballpark ranges only, based on typical material and labor costs and the local sales tax rate for your ZIP code. It is not a binding quote or contract. Actual pricing depends on site conditions, access, slope, permits, gate count, material availability, and other factors confirmed during an on-site visit.

Free on-site quotes. Written, itemized estimates provided after a site visit are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. A quote is not a contract; work begins only after you sign an agreement and any required deposit is received.

Service area

We serve a 50-mile radius from Snohomish County, WA. We may, at our discretion, accept projects outside this radius for larger scopes. Submitting a request outside our service area does not guarantee service.

Scheduling and weather

Project timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material lead times, permitting, and conditions discovered on site. We will communicate schedule changes promptly. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.

Permits and property lines

You are responsible for confirming property lines, easements, and HOA or municipal requirements unless we agree in writing to handle permitting on your behalf. We can assist with permits where agreed; permit fees, where applicable, are billed at cost or as stated in your estimate.

Warranties

  • Workmanship: Installation workmanship is backed by a 3-year warranty against defects caused by our installation.
  • Materials: Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer and vary by product (e.g., vinyl lifetime, metal 20-year finish, cedar 15-year rot).

Warranties do not cover damage from misuse, modification by others, ground movement, impacts, flooding, or acts of nature. Warranty claims require that the account be in good standing.

Payment

Unless otherwise stated in your agreement, a deposit may be required to schedule installation, with the balance due upon completion. Accepted payment methods and terms will be specified in your contract. Past-due balances may accrue late fees where permitted by law.

Website use

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems. Content on this site — including text, images, the Lumber Duck logo and mascot — is owned by us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumber Duck Fencing is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific work giving rise to the claim.

Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our site or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
